She did everything herself -A lot of stuff that happens in the book does not actually happen in the movie and vice verse as well, many scenes are added to the movie that were not in the book. I'd know even if I hadn't heard about the book and found it with covers ripped off and title and author's name missing. He kept such a tight reign that she couldn't leave the house without him, she had no friends, she had to continually change hairstylists so she didn't become too friendly with them, she could only go in the backyard because they had a privacy fence, she had to have a receipt for everything she bought and had to turn over the change to him and worst of all, he made her dress very attractive and wear heels all the time. You can see truth in his writing. Basically she has been physically abused by her husband for years and she finally decides to run. He will move things for most people if the price is right and he doesn't care to know what it is he is moving. So many messages were brought across from it.
I never even seen any of the movies. Not to mention her friendship with Jo! When Nathan returns, Dwight hires him as a detective on the force but Nathan points that its just temporary until he finds Audrey. Kevin pulls a gun on her but she convinces him to leave. He had helped the Chief deal with the aftermath of incidents caused by the Troubles by working as a cleaner. I do not find it boring at all. Not long after, however, Audrey started to get sick for unknown reasons. Dave's fear probably arises from an earlier outbreak of The Troubles, so the person who is now Audrey appears to return to Haven whenever there is an outbreak of The Troubles. I loved the fact that this book had an element of suspense added to it. And, as with all of Sparks' book, I found myself tearing up in parts. A terminal illness or two.
